FUNGICIDE

Metalaxyl is systemic fungicide with protective and curative action. Mancozeb is broad-spectrum, non systemic fungicide with protective action. It is a wettable powder containing a mixture of the systemic fungicide Metalaxyl and the contact fungicides Mancozeb.

METALIC is a highly systemic fungicide.
Mancozeb acts as a contact fungicide, inactivating the sulfhydryl (SH) groups in fungal enzymes, while Metalaxyl inhibits protein synthesis, growth, and reproduction in fungi.
METALIC is used to control downy mildew and rust in all crops, black shank and Pythium damping-off in tobacco, and late blight in potato.
